What should I bring with me to the showroom?
A floor plan above all, plus fabric, paint swatches and anything you are trying to match.
The short answer
Firstly, you need a floor plan. That way the guys understand how much you need, so you have an idea of what it costs to purchase the particular product you are looking at.
Some other things: if you are looking to match some furniture, like timber tables or other parts of your furniture, bring down some fabric, or ideas of colours, or even paint swatches so you know what is on the walls.
When you have that whole idea of how your room is going to look, you can make a decision on colour tones and textures as well.
The showroom is The Wooden Floor Store, 110 Salamander Street, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 7LA. They are one of our suppliers, and it is where we send clients to see and feel the full range in person.
