What is beading, and when do we use it?

A slim trim that covers the expansion gap when the skirting boards have to stay where they are.

The short answer

This particular product is beading. This will hide the expansion gap between your floor and your existing skirtings.

So if you are in a tenement where you have got Victorian skirtings and you do not want to be touching those, then this is a particular product that we can put down instead. There are different variations of this, this is just an example.

Make sure, if you know that you cannot take your skirtings off, that you have this on site ready to go for when we come to fit the floor.
